Mike Esler 2020
The work environment in the United States has changed a great deal over the past decade; now more than ever, L3Harris’ and Lockheed Martin’s customers demand high-level products at cutrate prices. Conversely, one thing has remained constant within our companies: the need to hire and retain talented engineers. I have had the pleasure of working alongside a diverse, hardworking, and capable population of engineers within Lockheed Martin, yet I have witnessed firsthand the negative effect on an organization when employee benefits are reduced below the prevailing standards.

My mission, if elected to the Office of President, is to help continue ASPEP’s commitment of fighting to fairly reward engineers for the unique and difficult work they provide daily at their respective companies. The defense of engineer benefits is as important as ever with the upcoming L3Harris CBA negotiations, and I will strive to help build an agreement that is empowering to our engineers while remaining cognizant of L3Harris’ affordability needs. Lastly, as I humbly seek your vote, I would like to thank all of the members of ASPEP. It is your support and enthusiasm that drives ASPEP, and I hope to use that energy to change all of our lives for the better.
Respectfully,
Michael P. Esler
